Taylor Jernigan has been a REALTOR® since 1998 in Montgomery, Alabama. Taylor served as the 2009 Central Regional Vice President for the Alabama Association of Realtors (AAR). He was the 2007 President of the Montgomery Area Association of REALTORS® (MAAR), an organization that represents over 1400 REALTORS® and affiliates in the River Region. In 2001 Taylor was selected as the Montgomery Area REALTOR® of the Year in only his 3rd year in the business. In 2006 he served as President of the MAAR owned Multiple Listing Service, and has served as MAAR Secretary and Treasurer, Chairman of the Technology Committee and MLS Implementation Task Force, and is a member of the Sterling "R" Society. Taylor is a graduate of the Alabama Association of REALTORS® Leadership Program, which he completed in 2004. In 2007, he was one of only 26 Realtors in the country selected??for the inaugural class of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) Leadership Academy, and he is a 2009 NAR Committee Vice-Chair. He is a Certified Residential Specialist, an Accredited Buyer Broker, and a Graduate of the REALTOR® Institute. Recently, Taylor appeared in the National Association of REALTORS® national public awareness campaign. In 2003 he was selected as one of the Top 40 under 40 in Montgomery Business. He was also the youngest to serve as the President of the Montgomery Lions Club, which at the time was the largest Lions Club organization in the United States, and he served several terms as Program Director. He is a graduate of Auburn University.Taylor has had a lifelong interest in the space program, and worked many years at the U.S. Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama. Taylor, his wife Amber, and their four children love doing everything together, be it travel, family games at night, swimming and playgrounds, cooking and meals, or reading before bed.
